Honoring Jessica’s Memory💜
In 2002, Christina’s beloved sister Jessica Phipps passed away at just 13 years old after a brave battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Jessica was waiting for a lung transplant, but her fight ended far too soon. Her memory continues to inspire Christina and the Oregon Rose Pageant to spread awareness and hope for all those affected by this devastating disease.
To honor Jessica’s life, a portion of the final proceeds from the Oregon Rose Pageant will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This donation will be announced during our live pageant event in July 2026. As our delegate numbers grow, so too will the donation amount, together, we can make an even greater impact.
About Cystic Fibrosis
Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a progressive genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. While treatments continue to improve, there is still no cure. Every effort toward research, care, and awareness brings us closer to changing the future for those living with CF.
How You Can Make a Difference
You can help honor Jessica’s legacy and support the fight against Cystic Fibrosis by donating directly to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Donations may also be made in memory of Jessica Phipps.
Together, let’s keep Jessica’s memory alive by bringing hope and change to families impacted by CF
